1. Who we are
"CitedLift" is a trade name of BearLeap, an eenmanszaak registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK 93674082, VAT NL005035135B27). The data controller for the purposes of the GDPR is the founder, Oleksii Galbur.

2. What we collect, and why
We collect data only for the specific purposes below:
- Contact & lead data (name, work email, phone, company website, comments) — to deliver your free AI visibility check, send your tailored pricing, and follow up on intro calls. Provided by you via our forms.
- Booking data (name, email, time slot) — handled by our booking provider TidyCal when you reserve a call.
- Site analytics (anonymised IP, page views, click events, device type) — collected by Google Analytics 4 to understand which content works. We use anonymised IPs and do not enable Google Signals or cross-device tracking.
- Demo widget inputs (your typed niche, country, brand) — used only to render the on-page sample. Not stored on our servers in v0. When the live Retrievable.io integration ships, this section will be updated.
3. Legal basis
Under Article 6 GDPR, we rely on:
- Consent — for site analytics and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or by emailing us.
- Legitimate interest — for fraud/spam prevention on our forms (honeypot, basic rate limiting).
- Contract performance — to deliver the audit, sprint or retainer you have engaged us for.
4. How long we keep your data
- Lead/contact submissions: up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Booking records: per TidyCal's retention policy plus our own 24-month copy.
- Analytics: GA4 default retention is 14 months (we don't extend it).
- Invoices & commercial records of paid clients: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with the third-party processors that help us run the business. None of them sell or repurpose your data:
- Web3Forms — receives form submissions and forwards them to hello@citedlift.com.
- TidyCal — handles call booking and calendar integration.
- Google Analytics 4 — receives anonymised analytics events.
- CookieYes — manages your cookie consent preferences.
- Namecheap — domain and hosting infrastructure.
- Cloudflare (optional) — content delivery and security.
We may add an email service provider (e.g. Brevo, Mailchimp) for newsletters; this Policy will be updated when we do.
6. International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the EEA (e.g. Google in the US). We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by emailing us.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

8. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies:
- Essential — required for the site to function (e.g. consent state). Always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4. Only set if you accept via the cookie banner.
- Embedded content — TidyCal sets cookies inside its booking iframe when you interact with it.
You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer (set up via CookieYes).
9. Security
We host on infrastructure that supports HTTPS by default. Forms are submitted over TLS. Account credentials are never stored in the browser. We do not request, store or transmit credit card data — payments (when introduced) are handled by Stripe or a similar PCI-compliant processor.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients and prominently noted at the top of this page.
